These reflect the isolating nature of contemporary experiences that could become an integral part of existence; as the potential for connection through electronic means increases in the 21st century, our opportunites for genuine authentic experiences may be compromised. But then again, they may not be diminished in quality at all, as virtual experiences may prove to be as real [authentic] as actual.
